Booking Platform and Marketplace

Designed and built a tour booking platform and marketplace from MVP to production over four years.

• MVP to production. I took the platform from its first MVP to a production booking system and marketplace over four years.
• Designed and coded. As the UI/UX developer, I owned both the design and the front-end — mockups and prototypes through to shipped HTML and CSS.
• Supplier tools shipped. I designed the booking calendar supplier companies ran their daily operations on, plus a voucher system that worked on web and in print.
• Iterated relentlessly. I went through many rounds of feature design and prototypes, validated with user research inside the travel company.
• Every platform corner. I had a hand in every part of the big platform — from the supplier back office to the traveler-facing marketplace.
• Product, company impact. A marketplace that connected suppliers and travelers, built and maintained by a small team.
