CHALLENGE

Lead UX/UI design of the portal



PROJECT DESCRIPTION

myabiportal.com is a B2B e-commerce & services portal which brings AB InBev's Europe zone customers online! Users can easily order beer and other products, manage financials (invoices, payments and bonuses etc.) and get help on any other question. Biggest beer brands collection and smooth UX on the portal makes it great tool for the business owners and managers.



DESIGN PROCESS

Task-Request - Research - Ideation - Prototype - Feedback - Polish - QA - Release - Analyze


Design process is a non liner process. It is iterative and really agile.




WHAT'VE BEEN DONE

Year 2021

My first year on the project, as the only UX/UI designer I worked on many things:


- bring consystency into UI/UX, create a Design System and apply common UX patterns;

- design new features' UI & UX and improve existing ones;

- create a unique Design Process which perfectly integrates into the general development process;

- adopted chat styles;

- created coupons feature;

- improved shoping cart component;

- improved vehicle utilization visualization;

- redesigned of the product's card and quantity selector's UX;

- created promo page;

- improved wishlists;

- created service pages: invoices, bonuses and account balance;

- improved checkout page;


Year 2022

My second year on the project, we worked on some even greater improvements:


- continue work on DS;

- continue to support team during development and testing to make overall UX better;

- improved mobile and tablet (responsive) pages' UX;

- improved shoping cart component (2nd and 3rd iterations);

- improved navigation and products catalog;

- created freshness feature;

- improved vehicle utilization visualization (2nd iteration);

- improved performance;

- great PLP redesign!;

- improved search;

- adopted service pages to the new platform.
