Motor Vehicle Services
A Government Platform

Part of the product design team that built a nationwide Motor Vehicle Services government platform from scratch.

• Full vehicle lifecycle. I helped design the services that manage any motor vehicle across the country — from verification and registration to ongoing management.
• MVPs to services. I helped shape the MVPs in year one, then polished and extended the core features — Verification, Registration, and Stock Control — in year two, with continuous design system work throughout.
• End-to-end warehouse design. I designed the Stock Control flow for the full manager-picker-packer-deliver chain, including order picking and order creation.
• Real product impact. Real, well-designed features and a genuinely user-friendly UX for the citizens and staff who manage vehicles every day.

First year of the project, I was involved in creating the foundation and lots of MVPs:

- Motor Vehicle Verification - a service to check vehicles and put them into DB;

- Motor Vehicle Registration - a service to enroll vehicles, people and organizations to the system, then its full life-cycle management and services;

- Stock Control (Warehouse Management System) - 'Orders' component of the system, to manage stock and transfer/deliver products. Including a service for a whole chain of manager-picker-packer-deliver control and cooperation.

- work on Design System etc.

Second year of the project, I was involved in tuning, polishing main features and creating new ones:

- Motor Vehicle Verification - rework of the 'Form' (main feature of the service). Photo/file Uploader improvements;

- Motor Vehicle Registration - 'Booking' feature UI/UX improvements based on requested changes;

- Stock Control (Warehouse Management System) - 'Order Picking', a feature for warehouse staff to pick, pack and send the orders. 'Create Order' feature UI/UX improvements. 'Specific Order' feature creation;

- lots of small UI/UX improvements;

- continuous work on Design System etc.
